Aeronautics
engineering is a booming career in India. Lots of youths from the young
generation are coming forward to be a part of the aviation industry. Therefore,
aeronautical engineering has a special significance in their life.
The sudden upsurge in the demand of maintenance engineers for aircraft has
forced open the career path of emerging students from Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering Colleges.
Well,
this all together has created confusion among emerging students who wish to
have a chance in the industry. Aspirants often fail to choose the best
institute that offers exceptional training programs for aircraft maintenance
engineering. Therefore, if you want to get rid of this dilemma, consider choosing
a certified institute that offers aeronautical
engineering courses in Navi Mumbai.
What you need to keep in mind?
Students
who are looking for a bright future in the aviation industry must study
aeronautical engineering and aerospace. They must have the degree of B.Tech or
consider studying aircraft maintenance engineering from a renowned institute.
The training programs deal with the manufacturing process and design of
aircraft. It also trains the students to service an aircraft. When it comes to aviation
industry, aeronautical engineers, pilots and aircraft maintenance engineers
play an essential role even if the duties are different.
The job role of aeronautical
engineers
The
job rule of aeronautical engineers is very unique. It includes lots of
responsibilities. They need to create eco-friendly, innovative, energy-efficient
and economic ideas for air transportation. An aeronautical engineer needs to
design or develop an aircraft. The components of the aircraft are what they are
focused. The laws of aerodynamics and physics play a major role in these
aeronautical engineers. Therefore, if you want to design aircraft, consider
mastering the designing aspect through software like CAM or CAD. Apart from the
genius point of technology, you must also sharpen interpersonal skills like
leadership, teamwork and communication. Aeronautical engineering is a type of
career that requires extreme dedication.
Three different parts of the aeronautic
industry
There
are three different areas in the aeronautic industry. These are aircraft
manufacturing, aircraft design and maintenance and flying. The first two
sectors are all about hardcore engineering and thus, aspirants need to know the
basic principles of engineering and design for smooth construction and
operation of aircraft. Four long years of B.Tech and M.Tech is achievable from
the training programmes offered by aeronautical
engineering courses in Navi Mumbai.
Streams of Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering
There
are two classifications of AME course streams:
B1:
It is the license required for mechanical stream in aircrafts. The stream is
related to vital components like Landing Gear, Fuselage, Wings, etc. B1 license
has been divided into four categories. These are:
·
B1.1:
This
is to certify an aircraft with Jet Engine
·
B1.2:
This
is to certify an aircraft with Piston Engine
·
B1.3:
This
is to certify a helicopter with Jet Engine
·
B1.4:
This
is to certify a helicopter with Piston Engine
B2: This
license is required for the avionics stream. This stream is associated with
electronics system. Two categories are responsible to achieve this license.
These are:
·
Instrumental system
·
Electrical system
Course Syllabus
The
licensing program of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering consists of 4 years. The
first two years include academic program and the other two consists of
everything for flying environment. Students, in the first two years, need to
know about theory and practical examinations like principles, components and
design of aircraft engineering. There are altogether 17 modules represented by
DGCA and thus, the candidates need to choose the desired stream. Make sure to
clear the modules presented by DGCA when it comes to achieving an Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering License.
Counting on the profession
Aeronautic Engineering is a prestigious job and one of the highest paying professions among other engineering fields. The salary may differ as it depends on whether you’re getting hired by a private concern or government. As a rule of thumb, private sectors offer higher salary package than government firms.
